Comfortable beds with charming historic character in a peaceful setting.
Unfortunately, the room was quite dark and felt dated . The sanitary ware definitely needs updating, and it was disappointing that the room wasn't cleaned properly, as vacuuming didn't happen throughout my stay. I also wished the tea and coffee supplies were replenished daily, which would have improved the overall experience.

Everything was great, so were lovely views over the sea and coast. The staff were lovely and great and assisted us with free parking. The double room was attractive, had coffee/tea making machines, a multi-channel TV and a radio. The breakfast was gorgeous and very very good, with a wide range of food options. The service here was excellent.
The hotel staff was relaxed.

The warm welcome set the tone for a good stay, improved with hearty breakfasts with home-made sweets that were a treat every morning. The mattress in my room was somewhat lumpy, detracting from an otherwise comfortable experience. The decor felt dated, which may not appeal to everyone. Navigation could be improved as well, as initial signage was misleading, taking me to a less convenient route.

Charming hosts and a perfect breakfast
Every morning started with an extraordinary breakfast. The variety of hot and cold options was excellent. The warmth from Diane and David, and the pool area, all lit up at night, was a lovely touch.
One thing to note is that the steepness of the hill leading up to the parking can be a challenge, especially when carrying luggage. It was manageable for us, but it requires some effort.

The stay was lovely, with clean crisp sheets and a nice hot shower that helped me unwind after a day of exploration. I enjoyed relaxing by the garden area and took some time to chill in the cozy lounge. One small thing was the parking needed attention, but it didn't take away from the overall experience—definitely try to secure a spot early! 😊

Perfect spot for walks and visiting the beach. The owners were super friendly, and breakfast was great-great to fuel up before hikes. Plus, there's a cozy lounge area and a bar to chill. The parking was a bit tricky, but manageable. I'd recommend checking out local eateries for dinner.
One thing to note is the small size of the shower in the room. It might feel cramped for some guests.

Thoroughly enjoyed the place, had a really comfortable stay for five nights. Its location was marvellous and fantastic, just off town centre, beach area, and picturesque Combe Martin. - Tried some takeout specials at Top Chippy, luckily it was just a short walk away from the venue.
